Enrolled students should provide their mark sheet or degree certificate to the Registrar ideally within the first week of commencement of classes. All students awaiting their examination results should provide their degree certificate latest by the end of March 2026.
The application form is to be submitted ONLINE. The application has to be sent along with an application fee of Rs 2,360/- (inclusive of GST @ 18%). Candidates applying for both programmes need to pay only one application fee. The fee can be transferred online or sent as a Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai. Please ensure that the full name, email id and mobile number of the applicant accompany the payment.
In the case of online payment, the applicant will be directed to the Online Payment gateway once the form is submitted. The applicant is requested to keep credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI details ready for making the payment. The applicant using the payment gateway service is required to pay the convenience fee as prescribed by the service.
SC/ST applicants are exempted from payment of the application fee on production of their community certificates.
Application Forms will be processed only if they are complete in all respects and on receipt of the application fee.
After a careful assessment of applications, shortlisted candidates will be required to take an entrance test held online in real time. Candidates can take the test individually in their homes or at any place where they have access to a computer with internet facility.
The test and interview will assess the candidate’s English language skills, general knowledge and awareness of current affairs.
The online Entrance Test for (a) English language skills and (b) general knowledge and awareness of current affairs will be held on the following dates and times:
Shortlisted candidates who have applied before or on April 7, 2025 will take the online Entrance Test on April 12, 2025 at the given time.
Shortlisted candidates who have applied before or on May 19, 2025 will take the online Entrance Test on May 24, 2025 at the given time.
The candidates who have completed the online Entrance Test will appear for an online Interview, which will follow the entrance test and be held either the same day as the test, or the following day.
The date and time of the online interview will be intimated to the candidates at least 3 days before the date of the entrance test.

The ACJ-Bloomberg Business and Financial Multimedia Journalism Programme is the only media course in the country where specialist trainers from Bloomberg train students on the state-of-the-art Bloomberg terminal to mine data, spot trends, break news and add context to their stories, providing them an edge over their peers.
